Pride Celebration 2022

 

     Over the weekend Worcester was treated to 2 events dedicated to Pride Month . We had the pleasure to be at these events live and experience the celebration and energy of Pride with the pride community, as well as speak to members who participated in each event. 

QUEER AF ART + FASHION SHOW

    The 'QUEER AF' show at the palladium welcomed well over roughly 300 + attendees of the LGBTQ+ community and others. The event was highly welcoming and was a blend between fashion and performances. We enjoyed amazing performances from Guiliano (musicbyguiliano) , as well as Robyn Millyonz, Lady Sabrina, and many others. The event was hosted by Love Your Labels' Joshua Croke, Co-founder and President of Love Your Label, and Miss Peppermint. 

     PRIDE FESTIVAL 2022

     Pride Festival took place the very net day after the 'QUEER AF' event. With all new vendors, free activities for all to participate in, dance & drag performances, and many more this event was the perfect part two of the previous event. We did enjoy a few returning performances although having a different crowd completely redefines the festivities. This events hosted over 30 vendors ranging from fashion, jewelry, and rugs to food, flags, arts & crafts, and others. 

  This was the very first pair of Pride events that we at BONAG Studios has had the pleasure to cover, and being our very first event in attendance we have genuinely had an amazing time with people expressing being themselves. This event symbolizes the change we have had not only in our city but in our society for the better.
